Structure and Form is the other Theme that I am conflicted with choosing a well. My immediate response when thinking of structure and form as my theme in relation to fashion and beauty shoots, is ways of manipulating the body and creating unusual, abnormal yet striking shapes and poses. Molding the body, and going beyond the norm and traditional 'beauty' poses. Looking into the way the body moves, and how everyone moves differently in their own individual way would also be something that I could look into within this theme. Normality and conformation with is society, also stemmed from this theme, like within 'Skin'. Delving deeper into the manipulation aspect from this theme, apart from the manipulation of the body, i also like the idea of manipulating the appearance of something; deceiving the viewer to make something appear different than expected. Optical illusions immediately springs to mind, and with the collaboration with makeup; could potentially be a unique outcome. The topic of Skin The body, shape, size and texture also was a connection I found relating to structure and Form.
